POSTCARDS SUPERHEROES

The Postcard Superheroes series originated from 3.5” by 5” sized collages created by Mark in 1978 on Richard Branson’s houseboat on the Thames River in London. He later created these large-scale prints at Richard Duardo’s studio Modern Multiples in 1985. Each hand-pulled six-color print also includes phosphorescent, fluorescent, and glow-in-the-dark inks that contain subliminal messages when viewed in daylight, black light, and darkness.
